WB 6A Review 2

Dear all,

Think.....

1. each girl received 8 books, each boy received 3 books,
2.  Total number of books received by the girls is 46 more than the total number of boys received,
3. total pupils is 36
4.  how do you make use of this information?
5. What concept(s) is involved?

Think of the second question below:

There are 8 times as many children as adults at a fun fair. Each child was given 2 cans of drinks and each adult was given 3 cans of drinks.  5472 cans were given out altogether. How many children were at the fun fair?

DO NOT COPY THE QUESTION. I HAVE PREPARED THE QUESTION FOR YOU, YOU JUST HAVE TO THINK ABOUT IT. We will discuss the 2 questions tomorrow first thing before we discuss the other questions.

Mrs Mak
Dear all,
Please try out this question on a piece of paper using the shapes to solve the problem.

Mrs Kim had a total of 33 watches and necklaces in her shop. After selling some watches and necklaces, she had 12 of them left. The ratio of the number of watches sold to the number of watches left was 1 : 2. The ratio of the number of necklaces sold to the number of necklaces that were left was 3 : 1. How many necklaces were there at first?

Enjoy ....:)
